Controversial on-air-personality and comedienne has challenged ‘miracle working’ pastors in the country to ‘resurrect’ the late Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA).
KABA died last Saturday after being rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital following a short illness.
His death has caused much grief in the media fraternity as well as the general public and Afia Schwarzenegger has been one of the people who have paid glowing tributes to the 37-year-old.
In her most recent comment on KABA’s death, the comedienne has called on all pastors who claim to perform miracles everyday to take advantage of the situation to get free publicity.
Though she failed to mention names, she referred to “those at Tema Roundabout”.
Bishop Daniel Obinim of the International Godsway Church is the only famous pastor with a church in that area.
There are a lot of ‘men of God’ in Ghana who, day in day out, claim to have performed astounding miracles and also predicted current happenings. While Bishop Obinim was recently in the news for ‘resurrecting’ a young man who was in coma, Prophet Emmanuel Kobi of Glorious Wave Chapel has been reported to have claimed that he told KABA about death hanging over his head.
But according to her, who does not seem to believe any of these miracles, if any of them really had the power, they should go to the morgue and resurrect KABA.
“Resurrect KABA and we the media people will advertise you freely”, she taunted in a video.
